Product Overview

The J4858D is a 1000BASE-SX SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver compatible with HPE Aruba networking equipment. It provides 1.25 Gbps connectivity over multimode fiber with a wavelength of 850nm, supporting distances up to 550m over 50/125µm OM2 multimode fiber.

This hot-pluggable transceiver features digital diagnostic monitoring (DDOM) for real-time parameter tracking, enabling network administrators to monitor real-time parameters such as temperature, voltage, current, optical output power, and input power. This capability is essential for proactive network maintenance and troubleshooting.
