The HPE Aruba J9995A module enhances the scalability and security of Aruba 5400R zl2 switches, delivering 8 Smart Rate multi-gigabit ports (1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T) with PoE+ support for powering access points, IP phones, and IoT devices. Built for enterprise performance, this module supports MACsec v3 encryption (not enabled at first release) to protect sensitive data across wired connections.

Engineered for flexibility, it offers multiple PoE+ allocation methods—automatic, IEEE 802.3af class, LLDP-MED, or user-specified—for efficient energy management.
